Finding My Anchor

My journey didn't start on a traditional path; it was shaped by constant movement and adaptation. Growing up adopted, my childhood was split between families on the Big Island and Oahu. Moving constantly meant I had to learn how to adapt and make new friends year after year. By the time I graduated from Waianae High School, I was a bit of a rebel, searching for my own sense of independence and stability. Because I rarely had a permanent foundation growing up, I developed a deep, quiet appreciation for what truly makes a house a home.

The Heart of a Mother & The Ultimate Sacrifice

My greatest life lessons came through motherhood. I had two beautiful girls from my first relationship. When that chapter ended, I was faced with the hardest decision of my life. Wanting the absolute best for them, and knowing I wasn't as financially stable at the time, I made the heartbreaking but necessary choice to let their father take full custody and move them out of the country. I knew the instability of my own childhood, and I wanted them to have every opportunity to fulfill their dreams. It was an act of profound sacrifice, patience, and resilience.

The years that followed were a struggle. I spent a long time searching for my footing and my self-worth. I gave everything I had to a relationship that nearly broke me, taking me to a place where I almost lost my life because I couldn't see my own value. But I fought my way back to the light.

My Soul Bird & Finding Peace

Life has a way of giving back what it takes. Meeting Keoni changed everything—he was my red cardinal, my soul bird. Together, we found true partnership. Through my healing journey, I discovered that creating order out of chaos was my therapy. Taking after my grandmother, who absolutely loved to clean, I realized that keeping a space healthy and organized keeps the soul lively and well.

The Mission Today

Creating Akamai Greenlight Solutions LLC with Keoni brings my entire journey full circle. The trials I’ve faced have instilled in me a deep empathy and an unshakable set of core values that I pour into this company as a full-time mom and business owner.
